"The remote Ubuntu 22.04 LTS / 24.04 LTS host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced
in the USN-7758-1 advisory.

    It was discovered that the AF_UNIX socket garbage collection implementation in Ubuntu Noble's 6.8 kernel
    did not properly handle out-of-band (OOB) messages, leading to a use-after-free vulnerability. An attacker
    could use this to cause a denial of service (system crash) or possibly execute arbitrary code.

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the Ubuntu security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version
number.");
