Description

USN-114-1 fixed a vulnerability in the PCX decoder of kimgio. Unfortunately it was discovered that the original patches were faulty and caused regressions. This update now has the correct patches.

This update also fixes the disappearing KDE settings which were caused by the accidental removal of /etc/kderc. (https://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/10035)

We apologize for the inconvenience.

Note that Tenable Network Security has extracted the preceding description block directly from the Ubuntu security advisory. Tenable has attempted to automatically clean and format it as much as possible without introducing additional issues.
