  - In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm-crypt: don't modify the data when
using authenticated encryption It was said that authenticated encryption could produce invalid tag when
the data that is being encrypted is modified [1]. So, fix this problem by copying the data into the clone
bio first and then encrypt them inside the clone bio. This may reduce performance, but it is needed to
prevent the user from corrupting the device by writing data with O_DIRECT and modifying them at the same
    time. [1] https://lore.kernel.org/all/[email protected]/T/ (CVE-2024-26763)

  - In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: Fix slab-use-after-
free in l2cap_connect() Extend a critical section to prevent chan from early freeing. Also make the
l2cap_connect() return type void. Nothing is using the returned value but it is ugly to return a
potentially freed pointer. Making it void will help with backports because earlier kernels did use the
return value. Now the compile will break for kernels where this patch is not a complete fix. Call stack

  - In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/mlx5: Add a timeout to acquire the
command queue semaphore Prevent forced completion handling on an entry that has not yet been assigned an
index, causing an out of bounds access on idx = -22. Instead of waiting indefinitely for the sem, blocking
flow now waits for index to be allocated or a sem acquisition timeout before beginning the timer for FW
    completion. Kernel log example: mlx5_core 0000:06:00.0: wait_func_handle_exec_timeout:1128:(pid 185911):
    cmd[-22]: CREATE_UCTX(0xa04) No done completion (CVE-2024-38556)
