"The AlmaLinux 9.2 host has packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the TuxCare
ALMALINUX9.2:CLSA-2024:1715000749 advisory.

  - Improper access control in the Intel(R) Ethernet Controller RDMA driver for linux before version 1.9.30
    may allow an unauthenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via network access.
    (CVE-2023-25775)

  - A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's netfilter: nf_tables component can be exploited to
    achieve local privilege escalation. On an error when building a nftables rule, deactivating immediate
    expressions in nft_immediate_deactivate() can lead unbinding the chain and objects be deactivated but
    later used. We recommend upgrading past commit 0a771f7b266b02d262900c75f1e175c7fe76fec2. (CVE-2023-4015)

  - A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's netfilter: nf_tables component can be exploited to
    achieve local privilege escalation. Due to a race condition between nf_tables netlink control plane
    transaction and nft_set element garbage collection, it is possible to underflow the reference counter
    causing a use-after-free vulnerability. We recommend upgrading past commit
    3e91b0ebd994635df2346353322ac51ce84ce6d8. (CVE-2023-4244)

  - An issue was discovered in drivers/net/ethernet/intel/igb/igb_main.c in the IGB driver in the Linux kernel
    before 6.5.3. A buffer size may not be adequate for frames larger than the MTU. (CVE-2023-45871)

  - In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: uio: Fix use-after-free in uio_open
    core-1 core-2 ------------------------------------------------------- uio_unregister_device uio_open idev
    = idr_find() device_unregister(&idev->dev) put_device(&idev->dev) uio_device_release
    get_device(&idev->dev) kfree(idev) uio_free_minor(minor) uio_release put_device(&idev->dev) kfree(idev)
    ------------------------------------------------------- In the core-1 uio_unregister_device(), the
    device_unregister will kfree idev when the idev->dev kobject ref is 1. But after core-1 device_unregister,
    put_device and before doing kfree, the core-2 may get_device. Then: 1. After core-1 kfree idev, the core-2
    will do use-after-free for idev. 2. When core-2 do uio_release and put_device, the idev will be double
    freed. To address this issue, we can get idev atomic & inc idev reference with minor_lock.
    (CVE-2023-52439)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version
