"The version of Tencent Linux installed on the remote TencentOS Server 3 host is prior to tested version. It is,
therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the TSSA-2025:0353 advisory.
Package updates are available for TencentOS Server 3 that fix the following vulnerabilities:
CVE-2023-27349:
BlueZ Audio Profile AVRCP Improper Validation of Array Index Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This
vulnerability allows network-adjacent attackers to execute arbitrary code via Bluetooth on affected
installations of BlueZ. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must
connect to a malicious device.
The specific flaw exists within the handling of the AVRCP protocol. The issue results from the lack of
proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in a write past the end of an allocated buffer.
An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of root. Was ZDI-CAN-19908.
CVE-2023-51589:
BlueZ Audio Profile AVRCP parse_media_element Out-Of-Bounds Read Information Disclosure Vulnerability.
This vulnerability allows network-adjacent attackers to disclose sensitive information via Bluetooth on
affected installations of BlueZ. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the
target must connect to a malicious device.
The specific flaw exists within the handling of the AVRCP protocol. The issue results from the lack of
proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in a read past the end of an allocated buffer.
An attacker can leverage this in conjunction with other vulnerabilities to execute arbitrary code in the
context of root. Was ZDI-CAN-20853.
Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the Tencent Linux security advisory.
Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version
number.");
