"The version of pgAdmin installed on the remote host is prior to 9.16. It is, therefore, affected by
multiple vulnerabilities:

  - Text returned by a PostgreSQL server, including error messages, quoted object names, and
    EXPLAIN fields, is passed verbatim through html-react-parser at every user-facing sink. An
    attacker who controls or compromises a PostgreSQL server the victim connects to can inject
    markup that executes JavaScript with full same-origin access to the victim's authenticated
    pgAdmin session. (CVE-2026-12048)

  - The multi-factor authentication flow accepts a next query/form parameter without validating
    that it is a same-origin URL. A crafted link can redirect a victim who completes MFA off
    the pgAdmin origin, enabling credential-phishing follow-on attacks. (CVE-2026-12049)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's
self-reported version number.");
