The version of AOS installed on the remote host is prior to 5.10.10. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the NXSA-AOS-5.10.10 advisory.
In Sudo before 1.8.28, an attacker with access to a Runas ALL sudoer account can bypass certain policy blacklists and session PAM modules, and can cause incorrect logging, by invoking sudo with a crafted user ID. For example, this allows bypass of !root configuration, and USER= logging, for a sudo -u #$((0xffffffff)) command. (CVE-2019-14287)
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s NFS implementation, all versions 3.x and all versions 4.x up to 4.20. An attacker, who is able to mount an exported NFS filesystem, is able to trigger a null pointer dereference by using an invalid NFS sequence. This can panic the machine and deny access to the NFS server. Any outstanding disk writes to the NFS server will be lost. (CVE-2018-16871)
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s NFS41+ subsystem. NFS41+ shares mounted in different network namespaces at the same time can make bc_svc_process() use wrong back-channel IDs and cause a use-after- free vulnerability. Thus a malicious container user can cause a host kernel memory corruption and a system panic. Due to the nature of the flaw, privilege escalation cannot be fully ruled out. (CVE-2018-16884)
Insufficient input validation in Kernel Mode Driver in Intel® i915 Graphics for Linux before version 5.0 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
(CVE-2019-11085)
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.0.4. There is a use-after-free upon attempted read access to /proc/ioports after the ipmi_si module is removed, related to drivers/char/ipmi/ipmi_si_intf.c, drivers/char/ipmi/ipmi_si_mem_io.c, and drivers/char/ipmi/ipmi_si_port_io.c. (CVE-2019-11811)
