"The remote MiracleLinux 3 host has packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the
AXSA:2013-43:01 advisory.
Ruby is the interpreted scripting language for quick and easy object-oriented programming. It has many
features to process text files and to do system management tasks (as in Perl). It is simple, straight-
forward, and extensible.
Security issues fixed with this release:
CVE-2012-4481
No description available at the time of writing, please refer to the CVE link below.
CVE-2012-4522
The rb_get_path_check function in file.c in Ruby 1.9.3 before patchlevel 286 and Ruby 2.0.0 before r37163
allows context-dependent attackers to create files in unexpected locations or with unexpected names via a
NUL byte in a file path.
Fixed bugs:
Previously, the rb_syck_mktime option could sometimes terminate with a segmentation fault when
installing libraries with certain gems; this has been fixed.
Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the MiracleLinux security advisory.
Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version
number.");
