"The remote MiracleLinux 4 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the
AXSA:2013-02:01 advisory.
BIND (Berkeley Internet Name Domain) is an implementation of the DNS (Domain Name System) protocols. BIND
includes a DNS server (named), which resolves host names to IP addresses; a resolver library (routines for
applications to use when interfacing with DNS); and tools for verifying that the DNS server is operating
properly.
Security issues fixed with this release:
CVE-2012-5688
ISC BIND 9.8.x before 9.8.4-P1 and 9.9.x before 9.9.2-P1, when DNS64 is enabled, allows remote attackers
to cause a denial of service (assertion failure and daemon exit) via a crafted query.
Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the MiracleLinux security advisory.
Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version
number.");
