Network Security Services (NSS) is a set of libraries designed to support cross-platform development of
security-enabled client and server applications. Applications built with NSS can support SSL v2 and v3,
    TLS, PKCS #5, PKCS #7, PKCS #11, PKCS #12, S/MIME, X.509 v3 certificates, and other security standards.
NSPR provides platform independence for non-GUI operating system facilities. These facilities include
threads, thread synchronization, normal file and network I/O, interval timing and calendar time, basic
memory management (malloc and free) and shared library linking.
Utilities for Network Security Services and the Softoken module
Security issues fixed with this release:
     CVE-2012-0441
The ASN.1 decoder in the QuickDER decoder in Mozilla Network Security Services (NSS) before 3.13.4, as
used in Firefox 4.x through 12.0, Firefox ESR 10.x before 10.0.5, Thunderbird 5.0 through 12.0,
Thunderbird ESR 10.x before 10.0.5, and SeaMonkey before 2.10, allows remote attackers to cause a denial
of service (application crash) via a zero-length item, as demonstrated by (1) a zero-length basic
constraint or (2) a zero-length field in an OCSP response.
    Fixed bugs:
nspr has been upgraded to upstream version 4.9.1.
nss-util has been upgraded to upstream version 3.13.5.
nss has been upgraded to upstream version 3.13.5.

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the MiracleLinux security advisory.
