"The remote MiracleLinux 4 host has packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the
AXSA:2012-577:01 advisory.

    This is expat, the C library for parsing XML, written by James Clark. Expat is a stream oriented XML
    parser. This means that you register handlers with the parser prior to starting the parse. These handlers
    are called when the parser discovers the associated structures in the document being parsed. A start tag
    is an example of the kind of structures for which you may register handlers.
    Security issues fixed with this release:
     CVE-2012-0876
    The XML parser (xmlparse.c) in expat before 2.1.0 computes hash values without restricting the ability to
    trigger hash collisions predictably, which allows context-dependent attackers to cause a denial of service
    (CPU consumption) via an XML file with many identifiers with the same value.
     CVE-2012-1148
    Memory leak in the poolGrow function in expat/lib/xmlparse.c in expat before 2.1.0 allows context-
    dependent attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) via a large number of crafted XML
    files that cause improperly-handled reallocation failures when expanding entities.

Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the MiracleLinux security advisory.

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version
number.");
