"The remote MiracleLinux 3 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the
AXSA:2010-56:01 advisory.
The gd graphics library allows your code to quickly draw images complete with lines, arcs, text, multiple
colors, cut and paste from other images, and flood fills, and to write out the result as a PNG or JPEG
file. This is particularly useful in Web applications, where PNG and JPEG are two of the formats accepted
for inline images by most browsers. Note that gd is not a paint program.
Security issues fixed with this release:
CVE-2009-3546
The _gdGetColors function in gd_gd.c in PHP 5.2.11 and 5.3.x before 5.3.1, and the GD Graphics Library
2.x, does not properly verify a certain colorsTotal structure member, which might allow remote attackers
to conduct buffer overflow or buffer over-read attacks via a crafted GD file, a different vulnerability
than CVE-2009-3293. NOTE: some of these details are obtained from third party information.
Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the MiracleLinux security advisory.
Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version
number.");
