"The remote MiracleLinux 3 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the
AXSA:2009-65:02 advisory.
The Common UNIX Printing System provides a portable printing layer for UNIX
operating systems. It has been developed by Easy Software Products to promote a
standard printing solution for all UNIX vendors and users. CUPS provides the
System V and Berkeley command-line interfaces.
Bugs fixed:
CVE-2009-0949
The ippReadIO function in cups/ipp.c in cupsd in CUPS before 1.3.10 does not properly initialize memory
for IPP request packets, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer
dereference and daemon crash) via a scheduler request with two consecutive IPP_TAG_UNSUPPORTED tags.
Tenable has extracted the preceding description block directly from the MiracleLinux security advisory.
Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version
number.");
