"According to the versions of the python3 packages installed, the EulerOS Virtualization installation on the remote host
is affected by the following vulnerabilities :
A defect was discovered in the Python ssl module where there is a memory race condition with the
ssl.SSLContext methods cert_store_stats() and get_ca_certs(). The race condition can be
triggered if the methods are called at the same time as certificates are loaded into the SSLContext,such
as during the TLS handshake with a certificate directory configured.This issue is fixed in CPython
3.10.14, 3.11.9, 3.12.3, and 3.13.0a5.(CVE-2024-0397)
The ipaddress module contained incorrect information about whether certain IPv4 and IPv6 addresses
were designated as globally reachable or private. This affected the is_private and is_global
properties of the ipaddress.IPv4Address, ipaddress.IPv4Network, ipaddress.IPv6Address, and
ipaddress.IPv6Network classes, where values wouldnt be returned in accordance with the latest
information from the IANA Special-Purpose Address Registries.CPython 3.12.4 and 3.13.0a6 contain updated
information from these registries and thus have the intended behavior.(CVE-2024-4032)
There is a HIGH severity vulnerability affecting the CPython 'zipfile' module affecting 'zipfile.Path'.
Note that the more common API 'zipfile.ZipFile' class is unaffected.When iterating over names of entries
in a zip archive (for example, methods of 'zipfile.Path' like 'namelist()', 'iterdir()', etc) the process
can be put into an infinite loop with a maliciously crafted zip archive. This defect applies when reading
only metadata or extracting the contents of the zip archive. Programs that are not handling user-
controlled zip archives are not affected.(CVE-2024-8088)
There is a MEDIUM severity vulnerability affecting CPython.The email module didnt properly quote
newlines for email headers when serializing an email message allowing for header injection when an email
is serialized.(CVE-2024-6923)
There is a LOW severity vulnerability affecting CPython, specifically the 'http.cookies' standard library
module.When parsing cookies that contained backslashes for quoted characters in the cookie value, the
parser would use an algorithm with quadratic complexity, resulting in excess CPU resources being used
while parsing the value.(CVE-2024-7592)
There is a MEDIUM severity vulnerability affecting CPython.Regular expressions that allowed excessive
backtracking during tarfile.TarFile header parsing are vulnerable to ReDoS via specifically-crafted tar
archives.(CVE-2024-6232)
The socket module provides a pure-Python fallback to the socket.socketpair() function for platforms
that dont support AF_UNIX, such as Windows. This pure-Python implementation uses AF_INET or AF_INET6 to
create a local connected pair of sockets. The connection between the two sockets was not verified before
passing the two sockets back to the user, which leaves the server socket vulnerable to a connection race
from a malicious local peer.Platforms that support AF_UNIX such as Linux and macOS are not affected by
this vulnerability. Versions prior to CPython 3.5 are not affected due to the vulnerable API not being
included.(CVE-2024-3219)
The email module of Python through 3.11.3 incorrectly parses e-mail addresses that contain a special
character. The wrong portion of an RFC2822 header is identified as the value of the addr-spec. In some
applications, an attacker can bypass a protection mechanism in which application access is granted only
after verifying receipt of e-mail to a specific domain (e.g., only @company.example.com addresses may be
used for signup). This occurs in email/_parseaddr.py in recent versions of Python.(CVE-2023-27043)
A vulnerability has been found in the CPython `venv` module and CLI where path names provided when
creating a virtual environment were not quoted properly, allowing the creator to inject commands into
virtual environment 'activation' scripts (ie 'source venv/bin/activate'). This means that attacker-
controlled virtual environments are able to run commands when the virtual environment is activated.
Virtual environments which are not created by an attacker or which aren't activated before being used (ie
'./venv/bin/python') are not affected.(CVE-2024-9287)
The urllib.parse.urlsplit() and urlparse() functions improperly validated bracketed hosts (`[]`), allowing
hosts that weren't IPv6 or IPvFuture. This behavior was not conformant to RFC 3986 and potentially enabled
SSRF if a URL is processed by more than one URL parser.(CVE-2024-11168)
The Python standard library functions `urllib.parse.urlsplit` and `urlparse` accepted domain names that
included square brackets which isn't valid according to RFC 3986. Square brackets are only meant to be
used as delimiters for specifying IPv6 and IPvFuture hosts in URLs. This could result in differential
parsing across the Python URL parser and other specification-compliant URL parsers.(CVE-2025-0938)
Allows arbitrary filesystem writes outside the extraction directory during extraction with
filter='data'.You are affected by this vulnerability if using the tarfilemodule to extract untrusted tar
archives using TarFile.extractall()or TarFile.extract()using the filter=parameter with a value of
'data'or 'tar'. See the tarfile extraction filters documentation

for Python 3.14 or later the default value of filter=changed from 'no filtering' to `'data', so if you

During an address list folding when a separating comma ends up on a folded line and that line is to be
unicode-encoded then the separator itself is also unicode-encoded. Expected behavior is that the
separating comma remains a plan comma. This can result in the address header being misinterpreted by some
mail servers.(CVE-2025-1795)
There is an issue in CPython when using `bytes.decode('unicode_escape', error='ignore|replace')`. If you
are not using the 'unicode_escape' encoding or an error handler your usage is not affected. To work-around
this issue you may stop using the error= handler and instead wrap the bytes.decode() call in a try-except
catching the DecodeError.(CVE-2025-4516)
The html.parser.HTMLParser class had worse-case quadratic complexity when processing certain crafted
malformed inputs potentially leading to amplified denial-of-service.(CVE-2025-6069)
There is a defect in the CPython tarfile module affecting the TarFile extraction and entry
enumeration APIs. The tar implementation would process tar archives with negative offsets without error,
resulting in an infinite loop and deadlock during the parsing of maliciously crafted tar archives.This
vulnerability can be mitigated by including the following patch after importing the tarfile
module: https://gist.github.com/sethmlarson/1716ac5b82b73dbcbf23ad2eff8b33e1(CVE-2025-8194)
The 'zipfile' module would not check the validity of the ZIP64 End ofCentral Directory (EOCD) Locator
record offset value would not be used to locate the ZIP64 EOCD record, instead the ZIP64 EOCD record would
be assumed to be the previous record in the ZIP rchive. This could be abused to create ZIP archives that
are handled differently by the 'zipfile' module compared to other ZIP implementations.Remediation
maintains this behavior, but checks that the offset specified in the ZIP64 EOCD Locator record matches the
expected value.(CVE-2025-8291)
The email module, specifically the 'BytesGenerator' class, didn't properly quote newlines for email
headers when serializing an email message allowing for header injection when an email is serialized. This
is only applicable if using 'LiteralHeader' writing headers that don't respect email folding rules, the
new behavior will reject the incorrectly folded headers in 'BytesGenerator'.(CVE-2026-1299)
When using http.cookies.Morsel, user-controlled cookie values and parameters can allow injecting HTTP
headers into messages. Patch rejects all control characters within cookie names, values, and
parameters.(CVE-2026-0672)
When reading an HTTP response from a server, if no read amount is specified, the default behavior will be
to use Content-Length. This allows a malicious server to cause the client to read large amounts of data
into memory, potentially causing OOM or other DoS.(CVE-2025-13836)
When loading a plist file, the plistlib module reads data in size specified by the file itself, meaning a
malicious file can cause OOM and DoS issues(CVE-2025-13837)
CPython 3.9 and earlier doesn't disallow configuring an empty list ('[]') for
SSLContext.set_npn_protocols() which is an invalid value for the underlying OpenSSL API. This results in a
buffer over-read when NPN is used (see CVE-2024-5535 for OpenSSL). This vulnerability is of low severity
due to NPN being not widely used and specifying an empty list likely being uncommon in-practice (typically
a protocol name would be configured).(CVE-2024-5642)
When building nested elements using xml.dom.minidom methods such as appendChild() that have a dependency
on _clear_id_cache() the algorithm is quadratic. Availability can be impacted when building excessively
nested documents.(CVE-2025-12084)
If the value passed to os.path.expandvars() is user-controlled a performance degradation is possible when
expanding environment variables.(CVE-2025-6075)
User-controlled header names and values containing newlines can allow injecting HTTP
headers.(CVE-2026-0865)
