Description

According to the versions of the gd package installed, the EulerOS installation on the remote host is affected by the following vulnerabilities :

  • Heap-based buffer overflow in the horizontalDifference8 function in tif_pixarlog.c in LibTIFF 4.0.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) or execute arbitrary code via a crafted TIFF image to tiffcp.(CVE-2016-8670)

  • The gdImageCreate function in the GD Graphics Library (aka libgd) before 2.2.4 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (system hang) via an oversized image.(CVE-2016-9317)
