Android IMSI-Catcher Detector: AIMSICD

Android IMSI-Catcher Detector: AIMSICD is an app to detect IMSI-Catchers, which are false mobile towers (base stations) that act as a Man-In-The-Middle (MITM) attack. The app attempts to detect IMSI-Catchers through methods such as tower information consistency, signal strength monitoring, detecting FemtoCells, LAC/Cell ID Consistency, checking neighboring cell info, looking for silent SMS, and preventing silent app installations. It aims to protect against interception and tracking by IMSI-Catchers. This app does not provide full device encryption, secure data transmission, secure phone calls, secure SMS, application sandboxing, app permission control, firewalls, ROOT access, or prevent already installed rogue applications from spying. Efficiency against real IMSI-Catchers has not yet been verified
