  • [IME] In some scenarios, an Input Method Editor (IME) will either not show or show in an incorrect position.
  • [RADIUS protocol] A security vulnerability exists in the Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS) protocol related to MD5 collision problems. For more information, see KB5040268.​​​​​​​

Known issues in this update

Symptom Workaround
After installing this update, you might see a BitLocker recovery screen upon starting up your device. This screen does not commonly appear after a Windows update. You are more likely to face this issue if you have the Device Encryption option enabled in Settings under Privacy & Security >Device encryption. Because of this issue, you might be prompted to enter the recovery key from your Microsoft account to unlock your drive. This issue is resolved in update KB5041823.
