• As of January 10, 2023, Microsoft no longer provides security updates or technical support for Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1). We recommend that you upgrade to a supported version of Windows. Improvements

This cumulative security update contains improvements that are part of update KB5037780 (released May 14, 2024). This update also makes improvements for the following issues:

• A memory leak might occur in the Local Security Authority Subsystem Service (LSASS) during a Local Security Authority remote procedure call (LSARPC).
• The Local Security Authority Subsystem Service (LSASS) might crash after the April 9, 2024 security update (KB5036967) is installed.
