Summary

Improvements and fixes

This security update contains improvements and fixes for the following nonsecurity issues in SharePoint Server Subscription Edition:

• Fixes an issue in which you cannot create or edit items in a list if the list contains a hyperlink column type in the modern UI.
• Fixes an issue in which the usage analytics reports don’t work for upgraded SharePoint Server 2013 Search Service Application (SSA) Search Administration database.
• Fixes an issue in which the usage analytics job doesn’t run consistently if the short date format of the operating system uses a date separator other than the forward slash (/) character.
• Fixes an issue in which a list type discussion board cannot show all discussion items on the My discussionspage.
• Fixes an issue in which the Hero web part doesn’t show the tooltip when the truncated description is hovered.
• Fixes an issue in which SharePoint server with the Distributed Cache service cannot rejoin a multi-server farm.
• Fixes an issue in which the icon of the document library in the Copy to orMove to pane is a folder icon.
• Fixes an issue in which the title of the Image gallery web part cannot be saved on a team site page.
• Fixes an issue in which the “copy” message that appears during the process of copying items from search results on site pages is displayed incorrectly and is confusing.
• Fixes an issue in which image renditions don’t work for image files that are larger than 1 MB.

Known issues in this update
