An elevation of privilege vulnerability exists when ASP.NET or .NET Framework web applications running on IIS improperly allow access to cached files. A remote code execution vulnerability exists when Microsoft .NET Framework processes input. Updates for multiple .NET Framework versions for Windows Server 2012 address these vulnerabilities and require additional updates. Refer to individual product version articles for more details
