Summary

An elevation of privilege vulnerability exists when the Windows kernel fails to properly handle objects in memory. An attacker who successfully exploits this vulnerability could run arbitrary code in kernel mode.

Known issues in this update

Symptom Workaround
After installing this update, some devices running network monitoring workloads may encounter 0xD1 Stop error because of a race condition. This issue is resolved in KB 4345397.
