Summary Description:
A vulnerability was identified in the Sierra Wireless WAN driver for Windows 7, 8 and 10 where a user with local privileges could execute a file with administrator level privileges via an unquoted service path.

If you have a Sierra Wireless WAN adapter installed, you should update your drivers to the latest levels by following the links below. To determine if you have a Sierra Wireless WAN adapter installed, click on the Windows icon in the bottom left corner of your screen and search for “Device Manager”. Once Device Manager is open, click on “Network adapters” and look for the words “Sierra Wireless” followed by a model number.
