Summary:

A potential security vulnerability in some Intel® Network Adapter installer software may allow escalation of privilege. Intel is releasing software updates to mitigate this potential vulnerability.

Affected Products:

Administrative Tools for Intel® Network Adapters software before version 27.3.

Non-Volatile Memory (NVM) Update Utility for Intel® Ethernet Network Adapter E810 Series software before version 4.01.

Recommendation:

Intel recommends updating the Administrative Tools for Intel® Network Adapters software to version 27.3 or later.
