Summary:

A potential security vulnerability in the Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (RST) software may allow escalation of privilege. Intel is releasing software updates to mitigate this potential vulnerability.

Description: Improper restriction of XML external entity reference for the Intel® RST software before versions 16.8.4.1011, 17.7.1.1010, 18.1.6.1039, 18.2.1.1008 and 18.3.0.1003 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
