Summary:

A potential security vulnerability in the Intel® RealSense™ Depth Camera Manager (DCM) may allow escalation of privilege. Intel is releasing software updates to mitigate this potential vulnerability.

Description: Incorrect default permissions in the installer for the Intel® RealSense™ DCM may allow a privileged user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.

Affected Products:

Intel® RealSense DCM F200 before version 1.5.

Intel® RealSense DCM R200 before version 2.2.

Recommendation:

Intel recommends updating Intel® RealSense DCM F200 to 1.5 or later.

Intel recommends updating Intel® RealSense DCM R200 to 2.2 or later.

Intel recommends updating Intel® RealSense DCM SR300 to 3.4 or later.
