DESCRIPTION:

An unauthorized user with network access to a system’s administrative IP (Internet Protocol) address may be able to reset the administrator superuser password to a default value via a web browser. This would allow the user to gain access and issue administrative commands, with the potential to disrupt normal system operation

Affected Products and Versions

IBM Storwize V7000 Unified

All version 1.4 fix levels starting with 1.4.3.0 and up to but not including version 1.4.3.4 are impacted. No other code releases are vulnerable.

Remediation/Fixes

IBM recommends that you fix this vulnerability by upgrading affected versions of IBM Storwize V7000 Unified to the following code level or higher:

1.4.3.4
