Summary

Node.js module vm2 is used internally by the Box and Snowflake connectors in Designer flows in IBM App Connect Enterprise Certified Container. IBM App Connect Enterprise Certified Container DesignerAuthoring, IntegrationServer and IntegrationRuntime operands that run Designer flows containing the Box or Snowflake nodes are vulnerable to arbitrary code execution. This bulletin provides patch information to address the reported vulnerability in Node.js module vm2. [CVE-2023-37466], [CVE-2023-37903]

**DESCRIPTION:**Node.js vm2 module could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by a sandbox escape flaw in the Promise handler. By sending a specially crafted request, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the system.
