Fixes of Cognos Business Intelligence are provided as part of TCR fixes

This bulletin addresses several security vulnerabilities that are fixed in IBM Cognos Business Intelligence.

There are multiple vulnerabilities in IBM® Runtime Environment Java™ Technology Edition, Version 6 and IBM® Runtime Environment Java™ Technology Edition, Version 7 that are used by IBM Cognos Business Intelligence. These issues were disclosed as part of the IBM Java SDK updates in January and April 2018.

Multiple Open Source OpenSSL vulnerabilities affect IBM Cognos Business Intelligence versions prior to 10.2.2.

A deserialization flaw was discovered in the jackson-databind library which is used by IBM Cognos Business Intelligence.

IBM Cognos Business Intelligence is vulnerable to Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) where the application allows a users input to be integrated with client-side application code in an unsafe manner.
