Security Bulletin: Due to use of Expat IBM Tivoli Network Manager is vulnerable to arbitrary code execution (multiple vulnerabilities)

Summary

Expat (aka libexpat) is used by IBM Tivoli Network Manager ( ITNM ) could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by an integer overflow in the XML_GetBuffer function. By sending a specially-crafted request, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the system. Expat has been upgraded to 2.4.8 version to address the issue.
