An information disclosure vulnerability exists when certain x86-64-bit central processing units (CPU) speculatively access memory, this vulnerability uses the SWAPGS instruction in the CPU. To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker would have to log on to an affected system and run a specially crafted application. An attacker who successfully exploited the vulnerability could obtain specific information. (Vulnerability ID: HWPSIRT-2019-08103)
