VULNERABILITY SUMMARY

HP has been notified of a security vulnerability in the installation executables (Autorun.exe and Setup.exe) for Intel’s wireless drivers and related software that allows a local attacker to cause escalation of privilege via remote code execution.

RESOLUTION

Intel has released software updates that mitigate this DLL injection vulnerability in the executables used to install Intel Wireless drivers.
