Node.js module `windows-edge` allows RCE via insecure command formatting. Launches new Microsoft Edge tab on Windows. Vulnerable version: 1.0.1, 102 weekly downloads. POI: https://github.com/eugeneware/windows-edge. Patch: Avoid formatting commands using insecure user inputs. Affected OS: Kali Linux, Nodejs v12.16.1, NPM v6.13.4. Contacted maintainer & opened related repository issue. Impact: RCE vulnerability
