Security operation center (SOC)

What is Security operation center (SOC)

Usually refers to a cybersecurity team that monitors security events in their respective network to protect it from cyberattacks.

SOC helps organizations identify threats and respond rapidly to incidents. An effective SOC should have three primary goals: 1) Identify and address potential threats; 2) Detect real-time activity on network assets; and 3) Respond to attacks.
