Malware
What is Malware
Malware is a term used to refer to malicious software designed to disrupt computer systems without authorization. Malware includes viruses, worms, trojans, rootkits, spyware, adware, and any other malicious code. There are many different types of malware, each with their own purpose and method of operation. Malware is often spread via email attachments, websites, social networks, and peer-to-peer file sharing programs. Once infected, the user's system may become compromised, resulting in loss of data or damage to hardware.
