The Traffic Management Microkernel (TMM) may stop responding when processing Stream Control Transmission Protocol (SCTP) traffic under certain conditions. This vulnerability affects TMM by way of a virtual server configured with an SCTP profile. (CVE-2021-23013)
Impact
Traffic processing is disrupted while TMM restarts. If the affected BIG-IP system is configured as part of a device group, the system triggers a failover to the peer device.
