Debian Security Advisory DSA 718-1 informs about a buffer overflow vulnerability in the IAPP dissector of Ethereal, a network traffic analyser, allowing remote attackers to overflow a buffer using a specially crafted packet. Upgrades are available for both the stable and unstable distributions
