An issue in PowerDNS DNSDist before 1.3.3 allows remote attackers to craft DNS queries with trailing data, causing the addition of a record by dnsdist (e.g., an OPT record when adding EDNS Client Subnet) to result in the trailing data being smuggled to the backend as a valid record without being seen by dnsdist
