QEMU (Quick Emulator) is a set of simulation processor software. The software is fast and cross-platform. QEMU suffers from a buffer overflow vulnerability that stems from a double extraction in qxl_cursor() that could result in a heap buffer overflow. A malicious privileged attacker can exploit this vulnerability to crash a QEMU process on the host, or possibly execute arbitrary code in the context of the QEMU process.
