Linux kernel memory misreference vulnerability (CNVD-2023-72243)

Linux kernel is the kernel used by Linux, the open source operating system of the Linux Foundation in the United States. A memory misreference vulnerability exists in versions of Linux kernel prior to 6.2.9, which stems from a confusion in the instruction responsible for freeing memory in drivers/power/supply/da9150-charger.c. The vulnerability can be exploited to cause a program crash, arbitrary code execution, and more.
