Linux layer_2_tunneling_protocol version 6.0 or earlier has a denial-of-service vulnerability that stems from a flaw in the Linux kernel’s Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol L2TP, which could be exploited by a local attacker to launch a denial-of-service attack and cause a system crash.
