Linux kernel denial of service vulnerability (CNVD-2022-79428)

Linux kernel is the kernel used by the Linux Foundation’s open source operating system Linux, of which KVM is a kernel-based virtual machine. Linux kernel is vulnerable to a denial-of-service vulnerability caused by a lack of code cleanup when the device_add call fails when adding a partition to disk. A local attacker with user privileges could exploit this vulnerability to cause a denial of service.
