A remote code execution vulnerability exists in Microsoft Windows Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), an application used by Microsoft to connect to remote Windows desktops. The vulnerability stems from the failure of a networked system or product to properly filter special elements of code segments during the construction of external input data. An attacker could use this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the system.
