WordPress is a set of blogging platforms developed using the PHP language by the WordPress (Wordpress) Foundation. The platform supports the hosting of personal blogging sites on PHP and MySQL servers. An elevation of privilege vulnerability exists in versions 3.0.0 (inclusive) to 3.1.3 (inclusive) of the ProfilePress plugin for WordPress, which originates in the ~/src/Classes/EditUserProfile.php file in the ~/src/Classes/EditUserProfile.php file. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to elevate the privileges of a profile to administrator privileges when editing it.
