Vim utf_ptr2char function buffer overflow vulnerability

Vim is a cross-platform text editor. Vim is vulnerable to a buffer overflow vulnerability that stems from a boundary error in the utf_ptr2char function when handling untrusted input. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the system.
