WordPress and WordPress plugin cross-site scripting vulnerability

WordPress is the Wordpress Foundation’s set of blogging platform developed using the PHP language. WordPress plugin is a WordPress open source application plugin. WordPress plugin WP Statistics has a cross-site scripting vulnerability that can be exploited by an attacker to inject arbitrary web scripts that are executed when the webmaster views the site statistics is executed.
