McAfee TechCheck code issue vulnerability

McAfee TechCheck is a software to keep your computer running smoothly from McAfee, Inc. Used to diagnose machine problems, a code issue vulnerability exists in versions of McAfee TechCheck prior to 4.0.0.2 that allows local administrators to load their own dynamic link libraries (DLLs) to gain elevated privileges for system users. This is accomplished by placing a malicious DLL in the same directory where the process is running. No detailed vulnerability details are currently available.
