Juniper Networks Junos OS Resource Management Error Vulnerability (CNVD-2022-06681)

Juniper Networks Junos OS is a network operating system from Juniper Networks for the company’s hardware devices. A resource management error vulnerability exists in Juniper Networks Junos OS due to an under-complexity algorithm in the stream processing daemon on the SRX Series and MX Series and SPC3 products, which leads to a resource allocation error. An attacker could exploit the vulnerability by sending a percentage of fragmented packets greater than 5\% to cause delayed packet processing, loss, and a denial of service.
