Tcpreplay Buffer Overflow Vulnerability (CNVD-2021-93920)

Tcpreplay is a set of GPLv3 licensed utilities for UNIX operating systems to edit and replay network traffic captured by tools such as tcpdump and Ethereal/Wireshark. The do_checksum function in checksum.c in Tcpreplay version 4.3.2 is vulnerable to a buffer overflow vulnerability. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted pcap file to the tcpreplay-edit binary to cause a denial of service.
