Tuxera NTFS-3G is an open source, cross-platform set of drivers from Tuxera Finland for supporting read and write NTFS partitions. NTFS-3G has a buffer overflow vulnerability in versions prior to 2021.8.22, which is caused by incorrect validation of certain NTFS metadata by the application, and an attacker using the metadata could cause a buffer overflow.
