Linux kernel is the kernel used by the Linux Foundation’s open source operating system, Linux. Linux kernel is vulnerable due to an out-of-bounds access to xdr_set_page_base in net/sunrpc/xdr.c. By executing many NFS 4.2 READ_PLUS operations, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to attack a denial-of-service situation.
